THE AECS EQUIPMENT STORY..
Starting from modest roots over two decades ago, AECS Equipment has expanded into a strong team, servicing both New Zealand and Australia in the automotive equipment sector. Officially beginning operations in 1999 and incorporating in 2001, Sean and Jodie took ownership of the equipment side of the business based in Masterton in August 2023 leaving AECS Ltd to handle training from Hawkes Bay.

MEET SEAN
Sean has been involved in the Automotive industry since 1988. With local, global and cross sector, technical and leadership experience he has developed an understanding of business across the automotive industry.
In particular, Sean believes that having the right equipment and the support on hand to maximise its potential are the foundations of automotive repair business success.
Sean spends his spare time pottering around on his little block of paradise just out of Masterton with interests in hunting, fishing and snowboarding.

Jodie's commitment to excellence is the driving force behind AECS, ensuring that equipment for your workshop is not merely a purchase but a pathway to unparalleled success for your business.
In her downtime, she wrangles teenagers, pets, chickens and cows on their lifestyle property in the beautiful Wairarapa.

MEET HAMISH
TECHNICAL WORKSHOP ADVISOR & TRAINER
Hamish has always been interested in repairing cars. He has worked for over 32 years in the industry and has specialised in European cars.
Hamish lives in Auckland with his family. He works with our customers from Auckland through to Northland onboarding new products and assisting in all areas, making sure that equipment and support options suit your workshop.
LISANDRO
Product Support Engineer

MEET LISANDRO
Equipment set up and support, calibration and servicing.
Lisandro previously had his own workshop in Argentina after completing his studies in Electronic and Mechanical engineering.
He enjoys restoring/refurbishing cars as well as motorbikes. Weekends involve working on cars, exploring New Zealand either on foot or mountain biking.
Lisandro works across several areas of AECS, including, video production, diagnostics, equipment support, technical support, calibration and service which see him travel across the length and breadth of NZ.

MEET FINN
Finn is currently studying a Bachelor of Commerce at University of Canterbury.
He is passionate about all things business and customer resource management.
In his spare time you will find him up the mountains snowboarding or listening to live music.

PRODUCT SUPPORT ENGINEER
Jack has recently joined our team as a Product Support Engineer. With five years of experience as a fully qualified Automotive Electrician, he brings a diverse range of knowledge to his role. When he’s not spending time with his partner and young son, Jack is a passionate sports enthusiast, engaging in various activities that keep him active and motivated. He’s looking forward to this new chapter and is eager to contribute to the growth of AECS.
